    STEP 1-Online Registration using your Infinite Campus Parent account.
    We will close online registration on May 31st.

    Current students not registered by May 31st will need to wait for Late Registration to open later in June.
    (See Using Infinite Campus Parent information below.)

    STEP 2 - Contact your school
    You will need to provide your application number, required documentation and forms or changes to household information.

    Registration fees have been waived for the 2024-25 school year.

    Step 1
    Using Infinite Campus Parent

    Families who currently have students enrolled at U-46 please use this link to login to Infinite Campus Parent.
    ALL students are required to be registered annually.

    Use this link,Campus Parent Login Assistance, to reset your password or retrieve your username. Your email address on file will be required.

    Once Logged in, please go to the MORE tab on the left side of your screen and select Online Registration from the center section.
    You will be registering all of your students at the same time. (If you do not see the More tab, use the menu icon on the top left of the Infinite Campus Parent screen.)

    2024-2025 :
    Please choose the EXISTING STUDENT REGISTRATION. Look for your application status.
    You CAN add all new students to the STUDENT section after you have reviewed and updated your existing students on the same application.

      • Required: please begin your registration.
      • In Progress: please continue your application, answer all questions, and do not forget to use the submit button.
      • Complete: Thank you! Your application has been submitted. You may review and/or print out a PDF of our application.

    If any new student is listed in the Non-U46 section, there is a checkbox to add them as a student. Do not add children to Non-U46 students, if you wish to enroll or have them screened for preschool services. Only add them as students.

    If you have moved, you may enter your new address into the application. Please contact your school(s) to provide them with current proof of residency.

    If your application's progress shows COMPLETE, and you need to add a new or any student not listed on your existing application, you can use New Student Registration*.

    Please write down your application number for future reference. The application will pull in all of your current information. Please review each section before adding your new student.
    Once all sections are completed, use the red submit button, then contact your school.

    Please keep your application number handy.

    *Please note that you are limited to one "Existing Student" and one "New Student" application. Contact the Registration office if you have already used both options.

    Step 2
    When contacting your school

    Please be prepared to provide your application number, required documentation and forms or changes to household information.
    Even though your child is already enrolled, annual registration and up-to-date documentation is required.

    Please call your school in advance, they may require an appointment.

    You MUST contact your school

        • If you have added new students
        • Need to turn in required documentation or forms(See Printable Forms below)
        • Recently moved or have other information to update
        • Have a lease or use an Affidavit of Resident form
        • Needassistance with registration

    All new students will need the following (See Printable Forms below)

        • Birth Certificate*
        • Proof of Residency from Category A + B as listed on the Proof of Custody and Residency form
        • Physical and Immunization updates will be due prior to the first day of school
        • Consent for Release of Records from previous school

  • Registration Assistance by School

    Most parents/guardians can register from the comfort of their home at a time that is convenient for them. However, if you need assistance, the below is a list of schools and when they will be offering assistance with registration.
    If listed as a Walk-in Event, please arrive at that school during the time listed. If listed as "By Appointment", please call the number listed for your school.

    The deadline for registration for currently enrolled students is May 31st.

    • Students not registered by the deadline will have to wait for Late Registration to open
    • Delaying registration may delay course/teacher assignments,transportation, participation in summer opportunities

    Do not delay, register today.

  • Registration Checklist

    If you are not sure if you have completed all the requirements for enrollment, use this link to our Registration Checklist, please use your Campus Parent account login. This will show you a listing of all students you have submitted an application for, the application number, and any required documentation needed for that student that we have not yet received. There is even a link to print out your proof of enrollment.

    Note that Online Registration for currently enrolled students closes on May 31st. Those not registered will have to wait for Late Registration to open.
    Students not fully registered by July 17 will not have access to the schedule or teacher assignment in the registration checklist.

  • We know that parents may not always have access to a computer; we have added a feature to the student Chromebooks that we highly recommend for access to Online Registration. Please follow the instructions below.

    • Have your student login to their computer (parents cannot login on their own)

  • In addition to the Online Registration (OLR) application there are other documents schools collect. Listed below are the most often requested forms that you can print andemail to Registration@u-46.org.

    We have included a brief description to help you determine which ones you will need for your children. Each child will need their own set of documents.

    Proof of Custody and Residency(click here to print inEnglishorSpanish)

    This form is required for new students, students who have moved to a new address, or have had a change of guardianship. Two (2) proofs of residency must accompany this form. Instructions and the acceptabletypes of documentation are listed on the form. Each student will need their own form, which must be signed and dated.

    Health Services: Pre-Admission Health form(click here to print)

    This form should be filled out for all Pre-K and Kindergarten students new to the district. This prints in English and Spanish.

    Home Language and Language& Education Background forms(click here to print)

    Parents of ALL new students PreK-12 registering in the district will complete the Home Language Survey on their Online application.

    For any student with aYES responseto either question onthe Home Language Survey parents will need to also fill outa paper Home Language Survey and the Language& Educational Background form.

    For your convenience we have put these two forms together inthe above link. The Home Language Surveyprints in multiple languages, the Language& Educational Background form prints in English and Spanish.

    Consent for Release of Records (Click here to print in English or Spanish)

    This allows the district to obtain records from your child's previous school on your behalf.

  • The U-46 School Board of Education has approved a one-time waiver of all K-12 instructional fees for the 2021-22 school year. The District will instead cover the cost of these registration fees, totalling about $2.3 to $2.5 million, as a measure to help families who have struggled financially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Optional fees such as for Driver’s Ed and other athletic sports participation will still be collected.

    Optional feesmust be paid at your child’s school. See your school’s website for more information.Optional fees include: Parking permit, customized yearbook, activity card fees.

    Accepted forms of payment:

    • Online payment:Debit/Credit Card and checking/savings account payments accepted online. No processing fees charged! Payments may be made through theInfinite Campus Parent Portal. Sign in to the Parent Portal and then click on "Fees" from the left side of the page.
    • Payment in person:
      • Cash/Money Order - Accepted at all school levels
      • Debit/Credit Card - Accepted at Middle and High Schools only.
    • ForAthletic Feepayment options, please see yourHigh School’s Athletic Website
  • All students are required to have proof of residency in the School U-46 boundaries. If you are new to the district, recently moved, using a lease or affidavit, you will need to update your proof of residency at your school. The following is required to prove residency:

    1. Proof of Custody and Residency Form -EnglishorSpanish
    2. Two (2) Proofs of Residency as indicated in the form above
    3. Affidavit of Resident Regarding Residency of Others -EnglishorSpanish This form is only needed if the parent/guardian does not own or lease their residence. This form MUST be updated annually.

    If you are having difficulties with housing or cannot provide the required residency documentation, please contact Project Access at 847-888-5000 ext. 6768, 6769 or 6765.

    Please note:Certain proofs of residency require annual updates, or when a document expires. If requested, the information will need to be turned into your child’s school before enrollment is considered complete.ALL Affidavits of Residency and leases must be updated annually.

    The district reserves the right to investigate any claim of residency or request current documents and forms in order to determine residency.

  • Students enteringPreschool, Kindergarten, 6th, 9th, and 12th gradeare required to submit health records to the school.Click hereto see the requirements for your student. As an option, you may upload your child's physical and/or immunization records right to the Registration Application, or you may email them to the Health Services Department.   • All students should be added to the application, no matter what grade or school. Below is information regarding our Early Childhood program.

    2022-23 Kindergarten Registration

    There is still time to register, please begin registration online.

    To be age-eligible to enter kindergarten next fall, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2022. Parents should bring their child’s birth certificate and two documents showing proof of residency within U-46 boundaries. No fees will be collected at this time.

    Preschool
    Preschool age children need to be screened in order to qualify for placement. Please call 847-888-5000 ext. 6094 to make a screening appointment. New or returning preschool students will not be scheduled into a class until all required paperwork is received.
